戦争における英雄たち：ドラゴンランス背景世界の中核となる要素に脚光を当てたキャラクター作成ルールを提供。 新種族ケンダーや、新背景“ソラムニアの騎士”や“上位魔法の塔の魔道士”など。
また、ソーサラーのサブクラス“月の魔術”は、クリンの神秘的な3つの月にキャラクターを結びつけて、その月の魔術を吹き込むサブクラスである。
悪役たち：英雄たちを、かの悪名高きデス・ナイト、ソス卿とその軍のドラコニアンに立ち向かわせよう。
